The braided connector is finished at one end by loop (cut in the middle) allowing quickly change various types of tippets/leaders/indicators. Is necessary to fix braided connector to the line with drop of glue and this connection cover by included transparent tubing. And still better is to tie up the connection with elastic thread and glue up again.

The tippet ring is tied to your leader with the same knot that you normally use tie on your fly. I prefer an improved clinch, but you can use your favorite knot. Then attach your tippet to the ring using the same knot.

The rings are very small - the outer dimension is only 2mm. Its about the size of the eye of hook. 10 rings per pack.
